Shortly before Thanksgiving, grandpa unexpectedly came to town and surprised the kids. He was waiting for Ella when she got out of school. So much excitement!
We remained at the school playground for a bit so that Ella could show grandpa some of her new playground skills. She had been trying for so long to master the monkey bars, and she learned just in time to show him.
Afterwards, grandpa played zoo with Virginia and Jude. He pretended they were animals, and he fed them carrots through the soccer net. It's no wonder they adore him.
