Each day I ask Ella what she learned at school. Today she replied: "I learned that I'll always be a walker, unless it's raining really hard. It rained all day and there were puddles everywhere, and we still walked."

As were were leaving her school, a little boy named Avery waved emphatically to Ella until she acknowledged him. I asked her if they had become friends and she told me, "Yes, we became friends when we exchanged crayons. Then we became better friends when we exchanged glue."

And totally unrelated, this morning Virginia told me, "Jude's a trouble maker and I'm a baby maker." Okay.

What do you think we happen when they exchange glitter?
