The Birds & The Bees

Our conversation in the car today:

Jude: Mom, all girls have the eggs in their bodies, right?

Me: That's right, Jude.

Jude: So, what does the boys got?

Me: Boys have sperm.

Jude: Okay, so girls has eggs. So, when a girl grows up, the eggs come out and she has a chicken? Right mom?

Virginia: (laughing) No, Jude. The girls have eggs and when the girls grow up, some of their eggs turn into baby humans, not chickens. Mommy has eggs and she didn't lay chickens, her eggs became me, and you, and Ella. Right, mom?

Me: Indeed, Virginia.

Jude: Oh, okay. So girls have the eggs and boys have the spinge. Right?

Me: Yes, something like that.
