Both girls were in the bathroom, both girls giggling. Suspicious. I had been gone only a few minutes and Daniel was in the next room. Sisters arguing is so commonplace a background to our day, that we opted to embrace the giggling . . . and neglect our children.
We were in the living room working on a puzzle, when Ella approached us to turn her sister in. Virginia had flooded the bathroom and Ella wanted us to know, so that she wouldn't get in trouble. Suspicious.
Apparently, both girls had been giving their dollies showers in the bathroom sink. Apparently, Virginia was a bit too enthusiastic.
This is what we found:
Every doll was soaked. The walls were dripping with water. Everything on the floor had to be either cleaned or disposed of.

Hey, at least there is no poo!
Oh no...the bathroom play! I have recently strictly forbidden Lizzy from playing in the bathroom with her friends for this exact reason. Somehow, water is everywhere, followed by toothpaste....followed by toilet paper. It's my least favorite sort of mess these days. I'll take the poo!
At least they were bathing the dollies in the sink and not the toilet!
