I love a good mystery, and apparently so do our godsons, Luke and Watson. So, for Luke's birthday (which was in February), we gave him a book (in July) entitled How to Be a Spy in Seven Days or Less. The book prepares the young reader for a life of espionage--encryption, disguise, double life, etc. Additionally, attached to the back flap of the book is an envelope with the following implements: one fake moustache, one pair of thick, dark rimmed glasses, two cipher wheels (every spy needs at least one person who can read his code), and a journal. Luke wore his disguise with gusto, and though he tried to avoid having his image captured (as any good spy should), I was able to capture a few images of him and his associates on the job.
Apparently, Caroline and Jude consider themselves the victors. Of what? The mystery remains.
